 Bomb Incidents in the Borough of Newport 26th June 1940 to 1st March 1941 Thanks to a local historian who resides in the City of Newport we are able to put on record a list of bombings that occured in the Borough of Newport during the 2nd World War. The incidents have been gathered from research at local libraries and are available for all to see. The list is an interesting insight into what life must have been like during these times. If you wish to print this document to show relatives and friends please feel free to do so, people who lived through those times may even recall such events.
